The Kirchentag is taking place in Cologne, one of the oldest (THE oldest?) Catholic Archbishoprics in Germany. Another topic under discussion, is bringing Catholics and Protestants closer together, working as brothers and sisters in Christ.

ummm, yeah. Sorry I keep using the terms "bishopric" and "archbishopric" -- I think they are terms of my own creation, based on the German "Bistum" and "Erzbistum". The proper English terms are "Diocese" and "Archdiocese" -- Cologne is the oldest, or one of the oldest, archdiocese(s) in Europe.
